Adiva Koenigsberg (b. 1980) is a photojournalist based in the Pyrenees. She is focused on relating personal narratives through feminine perspectives.
Her work is published regularly in the independent Catalan newspaper VilaWeb. She also has created content in the cultural sphere for La Virreina Centre de la Imatge and CCCB in Barcelona. In the public sphere some of her clients are the Red Cross and The Official College of Social Workers of Catalonia.
She has worked as an educator in New York City and in Barcelona building year-long photography and multimedia curriculum for The International Center of Photography, the New York Film Academy and in Barcelona, for the International school, Grisart.
Currently she is working on a documentary film honoring the role of the midwife in Catalunya.
Adiva grew up in New York City. She graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photography and Imaging and lives in Pardines with her husband, son and two daughters.
